The girls and I had a fun, busy day today! I have recently realized that I need to get my girls on more of a routine and do more activities throughout the week to keep them from getting bored. Wednesdays are going to be one of our busiest days this fall!
We went to the library this morning, planning to go to story time, but when I got there, I realized they are taking a break until September. We still had fun! The girls worked some puzzles and picked out some books. Their current obsession is Angelina Ballerina! We have seen the movies so I thought we'd check out the books.
I think there was only one other person in the library, other than the librarian. Gotta love living in a small town!
Our next stop was speech therapy for Delilah. She has some mild hearing loss, so she has therapy once a week for awhile. Today was her second time to go. She considers it playing games and she really loves going. She was really excited to see her speech therapist today, so that made my mama heart happy.
I always have to take Penny with us and she kept herself occupied watch a movie on the iPad. (Angelina of course!)
After speech we made a quick trip to Costco. I love the double buggies! My girls do not, most of the time. Haha! Penny doesn't like her sister touching her....
Delilah helped Penny with her snack. Such concentration!
I hope you made it thru this "day in the life" post for the most important thing that happened today. Our wonderful babysitter came over to watch the girls so I could go to student small group. We had 23 students there!!!! It was awesome! It is so great to see God working and moving in these students lives. Our one senior who is leaving for college this weekend led worship for the last time (so sad!). We just started a brand new schedule for student small group last week. It was a bit bumpy last week, but tonight was much smoother! We are so thankful to get to be a part of the student ministry. God is good!!
