(Let's just ignore the fact that we haven't posted to our blog since January...oops!)
Today the girls had the first ballet lessons! Delilah participated in a ballet camp back in June (like VBS but they did tap and ballet in addition to normal VBS activities), but today was her first class!
I started the day bright and early and went and got donuts for the girls. We spent a lot of time in Houston this summer, where there is at least one donut shop on every corner, so the girls are now obsessed with donuts!
I may or may not have eaten 2 and 1/2 if these babies today.
Penny's mommy-and-me class started at 10 so we had the typical hustle and bustle trying to get out the door. We had time for a quick photo shoot, though!
Patrick was off work today, but sat himself at Starbucks all day to get some church work done. He came up to meet us at the beginning of each girls' class (best daddy ever).
Penny had so much fun at her class! She did really great, too. She was definitely the youngest girl in there, but she did a pretty good job listening and doing what the teacher said. I was very proud! Delilah sat in the corner with my iPad and her pink headphones and was very good, too.
I had to wake Delilah up from a (rare) nap to get ready for her class, which started at 3. I forgot to take pictures of her, I feel so bad! I will next week (and pretend its her first day...I'm not the only mom who does that, right?). I did get some sweet pictures of her with her daddy, though!
Well, wish me luck that I post sooner than 8 months from now. My girls are growing and changing so much, and I don't want to forget this sweet time!
