Month of Prayer

We are in the final stretch as we count down the days to our big move to Georgia.  There are so many things causing us stress and worry right now.  Job!  House!  New doctors!  Health insurance!  And the list goes on and on.

Will you please commit to pray for us every day for the month of December?  We will be posting specific prayer requests throughout the month so please check back often to stay up to date.

Today will you please pray that God will provide a job for Patrick?  This is a major source of stress for him right now, as the provider for our family.  He has applied for several positions, some the door has already been closed, and others he is still waiting to hear back.  Please pray that God would provide the perfect job before we move.  I know it is easy to pray "in your timing" but let's be bold in our prayers.  Lord, please provide a job for Patrick SOON!  This week even!  I know that God can do that.

Colossians 1:9-12

⁹ For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, ¹⁰ so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, ¹¹ being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, ¹² and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritanceof his holy people in the kingdom of light.
