Hello, everyone!
I hope you all have been remembering to pray for our family even though we have not done a great job reminding you!
Today I ask you to pray for our sweet 3-year old, Delilah.
She knows we are moving to Georgia, but of course doesn't really "get" it. She doesn't understand that she won't get to see her friends here anymore, or go to her church "on the hill", or sleep in her room, or go see Dr. L, etc.
Delilah has always had a bit of a hard time adjusting to new things. The most recent change she has had to adjust to was the switch from a toddler bed to a twin-size bed. She started pulling her hair out as a stress-reliever. When we moved her into sharing a room with her baby sister, she started stuttering.
Will you please pray with us that Delilah would adjust with no issues to our move? I am so thankful that she loves our friends in Georgia and I hope this helps with the transition.
Please pray that I can find a play group to get involved in so she will make friends very quickly.
Please pray that a family will come to our church with a little girl just her age who she can be best friends with.
Please pray that she loves our new pediatrician as much as she loves our current one.
Please pray that our new house has a room big enough for her and Penny to share and for them to have another room as their playroom, because this is something they both love.
We have solved the issue of her pulling her hair out by getting her a baby doll to sleep with and play with/pull her hair instead of her own. Thankfully, her hair is starting to grow back in. Please pray this doesn't trigger a new bout of hair pulling, or stuttering, or bed-wetting, etc!
Please pray that she will feel God's comfort and strength in a new place around new faces and situations!
Thank you friends!
Praying right now!
